Tonight was graduation……it was SOO exciting…..I felt like a kid again. We got there early as Matheus had to get there to prepare so as we stood in line waiting for them to let the parents in…..we got to watch the kids coming in….we have gotten to know a lot of kids throughout this year…….

We got a GREAT seat on the side Matheus was sitting on and I videotaped the kids marching into the gym. Spencer was on the front row right in front of us and we got some good pics of Mashayla, and Danielle. We videotaped Jesse’s speech and Ben Crisp’s speech and I videotaped Axel’s speech but my hands were a little shaky…..ha. Coach Clark helped to hand out the diplomas….Matheus got an actual diploma…we didn’t think he would. We took lots of pics….here are just a few.

He went to project graduation afterward. He went out to eat with Bryson and his parents before….we were not invited which kind of our feelings….but we are kind of used to it…..I never really understood why Bryson’s folks never really included us in anything….Nigel had mentioned something about going but when we asked Matheus…he said they weren’t going…I think maybe we embarrassed him….I wish I knew how to be a COOLER mom….ha. It was sweet that Nigel mentioned it….and I am choosing to focus on that aspect and the fact that Lacey and her mom have made such an effort to include us in things….they are the sweetest people….I hope we remain friends after Matheus leaves.
